City of Köpenick – Germany

The beautiful historic town of Köpenick lies in the centre of the Berlin by the the rivers Dahme and Spree. Many of the streets in Köpenick’s Altstadt (old town) still  have cobblestones following their original, medieval layout. This is one of the few old towns in Berlin that is left after the second world war. We walked around Köpenick and sat by the river Dahme for a rest.
