Green Beans with Sesame seeds

Dairy & Gluten free Green Beans with Sesame seeds


  • 1 Onion
  • 100g Green Beans
  • Coconut oil
  • 10 Curry leaves
  • 2 tble sp Sesame seeds
  • Sea salt to taste
  • ½ Lemon
  • 5 tble sp Water

Fry onions until golden brown.

Add curry leaves and let it fry for another minute.

Add the green beans and salt.

Sprinkle about 5 table spoons of water and close the lid and let it cook for 5 more minutes.

Turn off heat and add lemon juice and garnish with sesame seeds.

Serve with Basa fillet.

(I find the coconut oil gives it a smoky flavour.  You can add 1/2 tea spoon of chilli flakes  when you add the curry leaves, if you want to make it spicy)
